About our club

We provide safe and relaxed conditions where club members can pursue their passion for model aviation in pleasant surroundings, without the attention of passing traffic, full size aircraft activity or crowded flight-lines. Our flying field is situated on the outskirts of Strathalbyn, approximately 60 Km south of Adelaide, and the membership is drawn from suburban Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills, the Fleurieu Peninsular and the Strathalbyn township and surrounds.   We welcome new members. Newcomers to RC flying are offered the assistance of qualified instructors utilizing ‘buddy box’ systems that provide a safe and efficient learning experience.    Club meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month at the Great Eastern Hotel, Littlehampton, starting it 7.00 pm.
Many members meet there at 6.00 for a meal before the meeting.

Although the main activity and interest is RC flying, all forms of model flying activities are catered for, with space on the field for control-line and free-flight when required, as well as monthly indoor flying sessions on the first Saturday of each month at the Cornerstone College gymnasium, Mt Barker.
